You should have already done your Bright Futures Application in December! If you did, you have a log on and password, and will hear from Bright Futures via email. You should have also done your FAFSA form online with your parents as well. You will NOT get any money or scholarships, if you have not filled out these forms. Even if you feel that you do not qualify, you should still fill out the forms, as other scholarships come from this application process as well.

Students, if you are eligible for Dual Enrollment with St. Petersburg College, fall registration has already begun. You need to enroll as soon as possible as classes do fill up quickly. Please take care of this before the end of the year. See your guidance counselor if you have any questions.

It needs to be signed by you and your parent and turned in to guidance before the beginning of next year. If you don’t do this, then you cannot take an FLVS course as one of your seven classes next year.

Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parents are encouraged to confer regularly with teachers through Portal or phone concerning their child’s progress. Parents should first try to resolve concerns with specific teachers. Individual conferences with a specific teacher should be made with that specific teacher.
Guidance Conferences
Guidance counselors are always available to meet with parents to discuss concerns and offer strategies to make their child more successful.
